United Armenian Students have undertaken the arduous yet fruitful project of rebuilding a school in Areguni Village of Armenia. On December 21, 2003, a benefit concert staged at Glendale High School raised the funds to rebuild a war torn school that housed the entire student body of the village.

The significance of the project was tremendous in terms of cultural revival of the area and the strategic political aspect repopulating abandoned Armenian villages that border Azerbaijan.

UAS invited the Armenian community to participate in this nation building project with generous donations as well as attending an unforgettable concert program. The project was a success as the school reopened, completely renovated and furnished on August 25, 2004.
