Summer Camp

As it grows more difficult to plant and nourish in our children Armenian spirit and awareness, the United Armenian Students breaks through by presenting yet another traditional and successful project: The UAS Summer Camp. For six consecutive years the Armenian community of Los Angeles has had the opportunity to send their children to a fun-filled, but also educational and inspiring camp. This magical ground, which is located in Hye Sierra Camp in the sequoia National Forest, offers a healthy and scenic atmosphere, where children have the privilege of getting away from their busy urban life. The camp is on 160-acre grounds with 2 lakes, regulation size football/soccer field, basketball courts, volleyball court, 12 camper cabins, 4 staff cabins, and a huge dinning hall. It is equipped with everything necessary for a fun and safe getaway. Established in 2002, the UAS camp has a six-year fruitful and unforgettable history for its previous campers and counselors. This camp is the perfect opportunity to mold our children into healthier, happier beings, enlightened with Armenian essence.
